How Many Dudes Strategy Guide
Strategy in How Many Dudes? is two skills in one: winning fights (Dudes, stats, positioning) and winning runs (economy, Relic pool, Tiers). These guides are built on the official developer guide written by the Dev Dudes themselves, plus the official Dudex data — updated August 3, 2026.
Start Here: Beginner's Guide
New to the Dude Ranch? Read our Beginner's Guide first — it distills the official developer guide's 10 tips into a step-by-step onboarding: what to click, when to use Dude Juice, which Dudes to trust, and how to take your first Tier 2 run without fear.
Wave-by-Wave Walkthrough
Follow the escalation from wave 1 to the G.O.A.T. boss at round 105: Wave Walkthrough (1–105) covers enemy progression (toddlers → wolves → gorillas → gods), Tier structure, and boss prep across all three Tiers.
Resource Management (The Dudeconomy)
How Many Dudes is secretly about compound interest. Resource Management breaks down Business Dude investments, the Relic pool system (Families + Flyers), consumables, and Dude Juice discipline.
NEW PLAYERSEverything the official dev guide teaches, in order: click everything, hold the Juice, trust your Dudes, and don't fear the Tier.
► Start Here → WAVES 1–105From toddlers to the G.O.A.T.: enemy escalation, Tier 1/2/3 structure, and how to build a team that survives round 105.

► Master the Dudeconomy → Frequently Asked Questions
What's the fastest way to learn How Many Dudes?
Play the free Steam demo, then read the official guide (linked on the official site) — our Beginner's Guide is a structured version of it. The official game also has a built-in glossary, The Dudex, which explains every term in-game.
What is the most important mechanic to learn first?
The economy. The official guide's single most repeated lesson is compound interest: save cash, invest with the Business Dude, and let it triple before the endgame. A rich team beats a lucky team more often than you'd think.
How do Tiers work?
There are three Tiers of Challenge. Tier 1's endgame boss is the G.O.A.T. at round 105; Tiers 2 and 3 add new constraints, enemies, and bosses. Gold/Silver Stars earned in higher Tiers retroactively backfill lower Tiers, so you can progress efficiently by mixing Tiers (official guide).
